Student Instrument Scholarship

A $250 award is made available to a 1st year student enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program at Stark State College. Interested 1st year students should download the attached Student Instrument Scholarship Application and submit it to the Scholarship Chair via email no later than December 1st. The award selection is based on financial need and the applying students'responses in the requested narrative.

ADHA Membership Scholarship

Previously, SCDHA offered a membership scholarship to a graduating SADHA member enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program at Stark State College. The applicants were expected to transition their student membership to active professional membership following graduation and join the SCDHA component. Applicants submitted: evidence of professional interests /goals, an explanation of how ADHA membership would enhance their career, and a description of how they anticipated their future involvement in SCDHA would positively impact the profession of dental hygiene. The recipients of the ADHA Membership Scholarship were recognized during the Stark State College Graduation Pinning Ceremony and had ADHA dues paid for one full year. Although this award has progressed into something different now, the recipients of previous years are still recognized below.
